Trayectoria Profesional

En sus más de 30 años de experiencia como psiquiatra, la Dra. Alejandra Armijo creó y lideró hasta el 2020 el actual Departamento de Psiquiatría y Salud Mental de la Clínica Dávila en Recoleta, así como también dirigió el Programa de Antipsicóticos Atípicos en el Insitituto de Psiquiatría Dr. José Horwitz, uno de los programas ambulatorios de psicosis con mayor cantidad de pacientes en el país.

El amplio reconocimiento entre sus pares la ha llevado a ser Secretaria para el Cono Sur de APAL (Asociación de Psiquiatría de America Latina) y Directora de SONEPSYN (Sociedad Nacional de Psiquiatría, Neurología y Neurocirugía) en 3 ocasiones

Todo lo anterior le valió el reconocimiento del Colegio Médico en el año 2020 con el Premio Eloísa Díaz, distinción que se entrega todos los años a una médico mujer por su destacada trayectoria gremial, académica y profesional.
